HOW WE PREPARE FOR THE OCEAN WEEK 2023
On the World Environment Day and to prepare for Ocean Week 2023, Yamamay employees tasted a Blue Crab menu, observing the cooking show of the dishes and discovering the environmental and ethical value of the project "Blueat - La Pescheria Sostenibile".
Mariscadoras are five young women who have decided to come together to transform the emergence of the marine ecosystem into an opportunity for sustainable growth. More in detail, the aim of the project is to enhance the gastronomic potential of alien species, as a way to limit the environmental impact resulting from the overexploitation of native species.
OCEAN WEEK 2023
A week dedicated to the ocean with events, meetings, and educational workshops to explain the extraordinary value of marine ecosystems and the fundamental role each of us plays in protecting them, even from the cities.
The aim is to raise awareness on issues related to the sustainable blue economy and the protection of the ocean through the active involvement of citizens to improve knowledge of this natural heritage.
Yamamay will be present at the works that will be held in Bocconi in the Blue Economy Summit, June 8, 2023, in the panel "Ocean Innovations - from reaction to prevention".
