Recently, we have taken many actions to help reduce the amount of packaging for each individual product, while increasing the percentage of recycled materials used.

Strict attention to packaging translates into actions that protect our forests and, more generally, the environment.

Packaging Uomo Yamamay

Among the other actions we have undertaken for the reduction and greater sustainability of packaging we also highlight:

  • replacement of the Basic Men’s packaging, initially in plastic, with FSC certified paper;
  • replacement of the Micro-Pack sheet with the Dri Clay® Micro-Pak for each package;
  • use of a certified and 100% recycled shrink film to protect outgoing packages;
  • use of 149 tons of recycled and certified plastic for the production of our polybags.
Movepack

Our desire to reduce the consumption of materials used for packaging products is mirrored in the new collaboration Yamamay X Movopack, with packaging designed for circularity.

The concept is simple yet brilliant: after receiving their purchases, consumers can fold the packaging and drop it off in the nearest mailbox. This allows the packaging to go through multiple cycles of use, significantly extending its lifespan and reducing the need to produce new packaging.

A little gesture, but with a significant impact on our Planet: in this way, CO2 emissions, water consumption and energy use decrease by 75% compared to traditional disposable packaging methods.
