With the application of the UNI ISO 45001 standard, the focus shifts to prevention and risk reduction policies, through the analysis of possible causes relying on an internationally recognised tool. The process was concluded with the certification by the TÜV Italia Approval Committee of Yamamay’s head office and shops number 50 100 16593.
Also with a view to implementing and ensuring safety, our organisational chart has been enriched with the introduction of the Prevention and Protection System Officer who, in coordination with the Health and Safety Manager, to whom the role reports, represents an additional level of support to the activities carried out by the latter, dealing with all activities aimed at identifying and preventing risks to workers.
In addition, we provide safety training courses through annual planning and the continuous monitoring of deadlines, both for our head office and for Yamamay stores, with content defined in accordance with Legislative Decree 81/2008.
Lastly, health surveillance and monitoring complete our safety management system with the aim of safeguarding the health of individual workers, where by “health” we mean a state of complete physical, psychological and social well-being, and not merely the absence of illnesses. The periodic assessments carried out by the Occupational Health Physician take into account various aspects such as the organisation of work, working techniques, environmental conditions in which the work is carried out, the materials with which the worker comes into contact, as well as other evaluation metrics.
